Lars Proen was a Private Military Contractor hired by British Petroleum's security branch for its Saturn Operations, he was the prime operator for the later half of the Second Saturn Crisis.

Lars Proen Born: August 29th, 1968 (age 62), Leipzig, German Democratic Republic, to East German mother and Soviet father Education: Grosse Deutcheland Polytechnic, no post-secondary education Bio: Joined Stasi 1989. Wanted for criminal excesses after Stasi dissolved in 1990, disappeared, rumored fled to Soviet Union. Resurfaced in 1994 Yugoslavia, 1996 Kosovo, and 2014 Libya, engaged in military contracting. Captured by Interpol in 2019, acquitted of capital murder. Hired by Kolz Solutions, PMC, in 2023. Quit in 2026, reasons unknown, whereabouts unknown. Reappeared 2028, re-hired by Kolz and dispatched to Mimas in March 2028.

It would appear that Mr. Proen isn't who he claims to be, at least according to the Federation, he is better known as Anton Korbalev. The Triumvirate reported to us that Proen was responsible for a great many actions against the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the resulting destabilization almost saw that The Federation not emerge as a sovereign entity. No confirmed data exists, but old intelligence records do not an increase in sabotage, protests and even an assassination did occur during this period of time, although we cannot attribute any of it to Proen at this time. Col. SPERMCUBE.ORG managed to convince Lars Proen to place himself into U.N protective custody, he claims to have information linking the Federation to the Second Saturn Crisis. However, he has not be forth coming, due in part because we haven't delivered him to Mars, as agreed upon. However Proen is labeled as dangerous and a liability and loosening him on Mars, even with guards would be to risky. For not he is in isolation on Callisto, and will be until he give us more information. We cannot run the risk of letting this bastard go back to the Feds, admittedly, it looks like he wouldn't want to given that he blew up one of their ships, but still for all we know, the Fed upper chain approved that destruction as part of a cover. But even if they didn't having a known war criminal be discovered on our joint colony would be a diplomatic and public relations nightmare, so for not at least it looks like Proen will be staying right where he is.
