The treaty which end the First Solar War (aka The Battle of Mars)

The United Nations (UN) will remove all personnel not involved with scientific and engineering work regarding the Belnar Ruins from Mars. This will be accomplished by December 31, 2035. The UN will be allowed to maintain a science base at the ruins with no limit on the number of unarmed engineering brigades, and one defensive garrison battalion, if such a time may come to pass that the United Nations possesses such a formation. This garrison battalion is to be used only to protect UN assets on Mars. Use of this formation in an offensive capacity will nullify this treaty. The Federation of European and Asian Nations (Federation) will assist in providing transport for, and pay inducements to, all UN inhabitants of Mars who are to be relocated. This assistance shall be limited to €5000 per relocated citizen, and the use of any Federation-owned void colonist transports that may exist until such time as all UN inhabitants of Mars have been relocated. The UN is permitted to keep one vessel on station at the Martian moon of Phobos. This ship may at no time have an active sensor present. The activation of an active gravitational sensor by the UN's Mars picket herein established will constitute a hostile act. The Federation will engage in unilateral negotiations with the "Brotherhood of Free Mars" (BFM) aimed at a peaceful reintegration of the BFM into the Federation. Both the UN and Federation will return any prisoners and captured vessels held to their rightful owners. Reparations will be paid by both parties for damages to materiel and personnel. The technology-sharing provisions of Article II of the 1st Treaty of Mars (2028) remain in effect. The Federation will, upon the relocation of UN inhabitants of Mars and the reintegration of the BFM, become the sole sovereign power over Mars. Their sovereignty over Mars shall include Martian space out to a distance of 50 million km.
