Current UNEC topics

This is a list of subjects and goals currently considered a priority by UNEC. Decisions and long-term plans involving these items are to be agreed on as soon as reasonably possible, and plans set in motion when feasible.

Items currently in need of decisions:

Cornucopia shipyard deal, agreed on in principle, a formal accord has yet to be reached.

Items that are considered UNEC priorities, but have been planned for:

Un-Aligned nation deplomacy, several measures are currently in place to make it more attractive for un-aligned nations to move closer into the UN's sphere of influence.

Klondike-Kagayan Aliens, UNIN is currently building up for a military assault.

Fleet modernisation/Project MONITOR, Capetown fleet under construction, shipyard tooling in process for Delphi and Gibraltar classes.

Project BIFROST, along with its revisioned verion, BOREALIS. Together they form the long-term plan and roadmap for interstellar exploration and expansion, currently awaiting completion of survey vessels.

National Colonies, accepted by UN vote.

Harroux's suggestions, accepted by UN vote.

Mars Crisis / Brothers of Free Mars, completed, see also Operation PHALANX.

Espionage Teams, we currently have two intel teams of good quality. More will always be welcome, but there is no pressing shortage.

Civilian Research, not currently an issue.

Fleet Modernisation / Project HURRICANE, 1st-gen fleet brought up to date.

Project ZEUS, Phase I completed, further process abbandoned by current administration due to expenses and imminent availability of extrasolar real estate.
