--------CURRENT STANDING ORDERS--------

MAD: If the Federation launches any form of attack on Earth Surface targets that isn't purely ground troops, open fire will all UN PDCs on Federation PDCs, evenly splitting all missiles and/or cannons. If we have meson cannons left over after their own platforms are dust, take care of other threats and finally their shipyards.

Standard Cruising Speed is currently set at 2500 kps for UN warships, this speed will be used if no orders to the contrary are given.

Resupply Whenever present at a depot containing sufficient fuel, maintenance supplies, or ordnance to reload or resupply, UN warships will do so. This order is rescinded in time of war in light of the lengthy time to reload ordnance.

Berlin IIS: 6 Exocet, 12 Eagles, 30 Hornet-C, 90 Mosquito-B.
Berlin IIM: 13 Exocet, 30 Eagle.
Surigao: 5 Hornet-C, 30 Mosquito-B.
Samar II: 25 Hornet-C, 10 Mosquito-B.
Capetown: 10 Eagles.
Capetown B: 13 Eagles, 1 Hornet-C.

Jump Point Protocol

1. Jump Tenders shall remain on Jump Points with their escorts, escorts to maintain active sensors unless directly ordered otherwise.

2. Survey Vessels will begin with a preliminary Astro-Survey and then a Geo Survey of nearby system bodies.

3. Jump Tenders should immediately return to their system of origin once escorts have cleared the immediate area to report safe transit and bring through survey vessels.

4. Following preliminary astro-survey results, tenders should jump back at least once every eight hours to maintain contact with Ragnarok Fleet Headquarters.

5. All transits into unsecured systems should be squadron transits, with squadrons to form up on the Jump Point after transit.

6. In case of contact, escorts are to defend the Tender to the best of their ability until a return jump can be effected. If at all possible, efforts to disguise the location of the Sol Jump Point should be taken.

Minesweeping

Activate active sensors. Approach to within 1m km of probable field location, slow to 500kps, and move in. If a mine is detected, halt and fire a single AMM at the mine. Repeat if mine is not destroyed. If an active attack is detected, full speed away while firing all AMMs at incoming ordnance.Continue sweeping the area.

General Order to Shipyards - Whenever not ordered to perform another activity, shipyards should undergo capacity expansion.

For BuOrd, with regard to Tranquility - When UNRL orders removal of ordnance production from Tranquility, shift production of any missiles ordered to Earth, leaving only completion of the currently produced missile, since this transfer will take little time.

Thebes Aliens In the event of alien transit into Hakahaka, all survey vessels, tenders, and non-warships in Hakahaka and the systems beyond are to be recalled into Roanoke.

UNIN

-------CURRENT ACTIVE ORDERS--------

To: GFTF From: UNGF Command Subject: Additional Infantry Training

Upon completion of the currently ordered engineering brigades, begin training of a further 12 (final unit 102nd) battalions of Mobile Infantry, using cadres whenever possible.

MEDAL In addition, recognition of the fine legacy of those who have given their lives in the service of the United Nations will awarded to all family members and students of fallen officers (rerolled characters) as the UNIN Legacy award worth 25 PP.

To: UNS Aristarchus From: UNIN Intelligence Subject: MINOTAUR Tracking

In anticipation of the deployment of survey vessels and commercial ships into Klondike-Kagayan, you are ordered to take your ship into K2 - accelerating at 2000 kps until reaching 500million km from ACROPOLIS (Klondike-VI), then slowing to 500kps for close approach until MINOTAUR is detected. Once MINOTAUR is detected, hold position along a DDL between the hostile task group and the Sol Jump Point under emission control. Report all alien movement.

To: BuTrain From: UNGF Command Re: Further Training

Upon completion of our run of Mobile Infantry, UNIN has requested training of 4 Reserve (Replacement) battalions to streamline our ground logistics. These units should be drawn solely from new recruits, with an emphasis on UNIN initiatives in Africa and Southern Europe as part of an operation to train officers from these nations in TN Logistics and Supply capability.

To: PILGRIM, WATCHTOWER From: UNIN Re: Hakahaka

WATCHTOWER 1 (Capes + Samar) to maintain watch from their position. WATCHTOWER 2 (Didyma, Bohol) will picket the Hakahaka side of the JP with actives on. We understand some maintenance work may be necessary, relief forces will be underway following refit of L variant ships.

To: Training Squadron From: UNIN Re: Overhaul

Training Squadron is immediately recalled to Callisto for overhaul of the fleet in preparation for LABYRINTH.

UNS Jutland, UNS Mackinac, UNS Kharkiv, UNS Tartu, and UNS Boston will remain out of overhaul, joining with the cruisers already in Callisto orbit. Upon completion of overhaul of UNS Rhodes and UNS Malta, Jutland and Mackinac will commence their own overhauls. All ships completing overhaul will enter a holding orbit around Callisto and await further orders.

Please exchange Small crew quarter for Small Fuel tank with the Federation ASAP as previously agreed.

NEW ORDERS 25 DEC 2036:

-Scribbleykins is to pause research into EM Sensor Sensitivity 8 and begin a research project on Fire Control Speed Rating 2000 km/s.

-The other 20 Labs are to remain with Eumenides and he is to then continue on to Salvage module 500 (5000rp).

-The remaining 4 labs are to be assigned to Scribbleykins to assist with his Fire Control Speed Rating 2000 km/s project. Once this is completed he is to resume EM sensitivity 8 research with all the labs he is currently using.

-Once Salvage Module research is complete all available labs except 1 are to be reassigned. 29 to Magicboots Composite armor project (giving him his max of 30) and 5 to Scribbleykins. 1 Lab is to remain with Eumenides and he is to begin research into Engineering Section - Small (2000rp).

-To avoid delays in game progress any freed up lab capacity without a task specified is to be distributed amongst current projects with the projects with the most labs taking priority until the admin capacity of the leading scientist is maxed out, this continues until the freed capacity is all in use or all ongoing projects are at max capacity.

-As new labs complete construction or otherwise become available they are to be assigned to the project with the most labs currently assigned to it that has free admin capacity on its leading scientist.

UNIEB

UPDATED ORDERS 17 Jan 2037 (http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3474164&pagenumber=388#post436728353)

For Masada construction, it is easiest to simply post standing orders shipping the necessary minerals, pausing local industry and redirecting it to construction, and then switching back once the Masada is complete. UNIEB orders this to be done for the two Masada's to be shipped to and then built on Luna and the 1 for Callisto.

UNRL

Shipyards

International Space Station

(Retooling for Brunel)

Sydney Shipworks

(Tooled for: Praetor)
- Continue expansion up to a maximum of 100,000 tonnes.

Samsung Shipbuilding Void Yard

(Tooled for: Isaac Asimov; Currently building Asimov)
- Retool for Limerick.

Mitsubishi Commercial:

- Adding a second slipway.
-Retool for Drake. Build Drakes as engines and salvage modules become available.

Commercial Fleet

Freighter Task Force York should transport every automine constructed on Earth to Tranquility, checking for new mines every month.

Lyells are to report to Callisto Fleet Base once handed over by Cornucopia. Await further orders. Do NOT use the Principles of Exploration.

Linelayers are to report to Callisto Fleet Base once the have finished their assigned gate. Wait for further orders.

Stockpiles

Whenever a complete set of Lyell parts is produced, hand it over to Cornucopia. Don't do this more than 10 times.

Where a reserve level has not been set for a mineral for a colony which is constructing anything that reserve level should be raised to 100.

UNCAO

Noone shall sell or offer any systems, planets, moons or bodies of land or space outside of Sol to anyone.

On June 1st 2038, LLSix shall resume administration of Callisto and Volmarias shall resume administration of Iapetus unless the MIND threat is resolved first. This order is subject to change with the strategic and economic situation.

There will be no exclusive national colonies. No colony may prohibit immigration by or selectively exclude the nationality, race, religion, sex or gender identity of UN Citizens.

PRINCIPLES OF EXPLORATION

UNRL (commercial) ships are NOT to use these principles. They have been cancelled for UNRL. When left without any orders, please ask for guidance.

1) Gravsurvey vessels, on leaving port, should immediately head to the nearest system (as expressed in kilometres) in which there is an unexplored jump point or unsurveyed points to begin exploration.

1a) On entering an unexplored system, gravsurvey vessels are to do flybys of potentially habitable worlds to verify their colonisation status. If the gravsurvey vessel is equipped with a thermal sensor, it is to approach to within a million kilometres of that system's primary to verify the presence of any other vessels in the vicinity, if the system contains any worlds at all.

2) On completing a survey of a given system, if a gravsurvey vessel still has adequate mission time available, it is to head through the nearest unexplored jump point and commence a new survey.

2a) If an unexplored jump point is not available, it is to head to the nearest system with an unexplored point or the nearest system with unsurveyed points, whichever is closer.

3) Geosurvey vessels, on leaving port, are to head to the nearest unsurveyed or partly unsurveyed system containing worlds of colony cost 3 or lower which has been verified as empty by a gravsurvey vessel and commence operations.

3a) If such a system is not currently available, vessels are to head to the nearest empty system with unsurveyed bodies larger than asteroids.

4) Geosurvey vessels are not to survey asteroids or comets except in systems earmarked for colonisation.

4a) An exception to this can be made if there are no currently available unsurveyed systems, at which point the vessel will commence surveying the nearest belt.

5) On completion of a survey, a geosurvey vessel is to proceed as if it was leaving port from its present point.

6) All survey vessels are to return to port when under 30% of their fuel capacity.

7) Any of these principles can be overridden at any point by UNIN, UNRL, UNFRAD or UNCAO.
