Revision as of 19:05, 4 November 2013

--------CURRENT STANDING ORDERS--------

MAD: If the Federation launches any form of attack on Earth Surface targets that isn't purely ground troops, open fire will all UN PDCs on Federation PDCs, evenly splitting all missiles and/or cannons. If we have meson cannons left over after their own platforms are dust, take care of other threats and finally their shipyards.

Standard Cruising Speed is currently set at 2500 kps for UN warships, this speed will be used if no orders to the contrary are given.

Resupply Whenever present at a depot containing sufficient fuel, maintenance supplies, or ordnance to reload or resupply, UN warships will do so. This order is rescinded in time of war in light of the lengthy time to reload ordnance.

Berlin IIS: 6 Exocet, 12 Eagles, 30 Hornet-C, 90 Mosquito-B. Berlin IIM: 13 Exocet, 30 Eagle. Surigao: 5 Hornet-C, 30 Mosquito-B. Samar II: 25 Hornet-C, 10 Mosquito-B. Capetown: 10 Eagles. Capetown B: Each 13 Eagles.

Jump Point Protocol

1. Jump Tenders shall remain on Jump Points with their escorts, escorts to maintain active sensors unless directly ordered otherwise.

2. Survey Vessels will begin with a preliminary Astro-Survey and then a Geo Survey of nearby system bodies.

3. Jump Tenders should immediately return to their system of origin once escorts have cleared the immediate area to report safe transit and bring through survey vessels.

4. Following preliminary astro-survey results, tenders should jump back at least once every eight hours to maintain contact with Ragnarok Fleet Headquarters.

5. All transits into unsecured systems should be squadron transits, with squadrons to form up on the Jump Point after transit.

6. In case of contact, escorts are to defend the Tender to the best of their ability until a return jump can be effected. If at all possible, efforts to disguise the location of the Sol Jump Point should be taken.

General Order to Shipyards - Whenever not ordered to perform another activity, shipyards should undergo capacity expansion.

-------CURRENT ACTIVE ORDERS--------

Scrap all remaining Hornet-As and Mosquito-As.

PRIORITY MESSAGE - ENCRYPTION VERIFIED To: UNS Visayas, UNS Panay, UNS Quirono CC: UNFI Operations, UNEC From: Fleet HQ Subject: Operation Deceitful Light

Commanders, you will be participating in a top secret operation. This operation will proceed in multiple stages, outlined below.

Stage 1 UNS Visayas and UNS Panay will form TG STALKER and move at 450 kps to a holding position five hundred thousand kilometers outside the Federation Mars Exclusion Zone, along the Mars-Callisto heading. Your ships are under emission control for the duration of this stage. UNS Quirono will make for Earth at 2500 kps and settle into formation as the escort of UNAS Lictor and UNAS Venti. UNS Quirono will go actives on once together with the transports. During this time, UNFI will be working to subtly maneuver Shrike into taking our bait.

Stage 2 All ships are now in position. Upon completion of the Belnar Excavations, Troop Transport Group will head to Mars, load two engineering brigades and deposit them on Callisto. UNS Quirono should observe Federation directives with regard to movement and sensor use when within the Mars Exclusion Zone so long as such directives do not threaten the security of UN vessels by allowing Federation inspection of anything other than the transport bays of our ships. The group will then head to Callisto at best speed and drop off our engineers there. TG STALKER will divide into STALKER 1 and STALKER 2, taking up escort positions five hundred thousand kilometers directly ahead and behind the Transport Group. Emissions control for Visayas and Panay is required, UNS Quirono should continue to use its active.

Stage 3 We have now delivered two engineering brigades to Callisto and returned to Mars. The Transports take aboard Vasu and company with MP guards on one ships, and surplus munitions on the other (fluff). The ships then depart for Callisto. As they leave Mars, an open transmission from UN Fleet HQ will go out, informing the system of a major shipping accident near the K2 Jump Point. UNS Quirono, with actives on, will respond on an open channel that it is underway to assist and move off at maximum speed.

Stage 4 If Shrike takes the bait offered, it will approach and eventually attempt to take the transports of light off its own active sensor. Upon detection, UNS Visayas and UNS Panay should demand its immediate surrender, turn on their active sensors, move toward Shrike at maximum speed and fire two salvos each of Hornet-Cs at Shrike. If Shrike does indeed surrender, turning off its engine and holding for boarding, the missiles should be prematurely detonated. Shrike, crewed by UN boarders should be returned to Callisto escorted by Visayas and Panay. If Shrike refuses to surrender, UN ships are authorized to use all means necessary to destroy it. If Shrike attempts to fire, activate the failsafe to destroy its fire control. Survivors captured should be brought to Callisto by Visayas and Panay. Once the operation has ended, either with an uneventful trip to Callisto or capture/destruction of Shrike, UNS Quirono should return and escort the transports as they finish moving our engineers off Mars to Callisto.

UNS Kharkiv and UNS Tartu join Operation Deceitful Light, forming up TG STALKER 1/2 after the first dropoff at Callisto, working with the Samar IIbs. The Cape Towns should fire if the Shrike is detected at further out than 4 million km from the Samars.

To: BuShips From: Fleet HQ Subject: Guam Construction

Once Oceania Shipyard is tooled for the Guams, we will be building a run of six colliers. Tentative names for the ships are listed below.

1. UNS Guam 2. UNS Okinawa 3. UNS Akrotiri 4. UNS Diego Garcia 5. UNS Falklands 6. UNS Ascension

To: PATHFINDER From: Fleet HQ Subject: Reorganization and Orders

UNS Boomtown should detach and turn back to pick up the UN Xeno Studies team for transport to Roanoke and then rejoin PATHFINDER at Callisto.

Upon arrival at Callisto, UNS Boston and UNS Seville will detach the the Cruiser Group. UNS Alfred Nobel will standby for resumption of scouting activity in Klondike-Kagayan. The remainder of the task group - UNS Samar, UNS Boomtown, UNS Edwin Armstrong, and UNS Galileo will depart to Roanoke in expectation of additional extra-solar routes being detected, once arrived PATHFINDER will conduct final jump tests and then join the standard jump rotation for the time being. UNS Boomtown will detach to drop off the Xeno Team at the ruins on Thule.

REFIT SCHEDULE FOR CAPE TOWN DESTROYERS

Upon completion of the second run of Cape Town-Bs, we will begin refits for the Cape Towns currently in service in order of commisioning. This order is summarized below:

1st Refits: UNS Cape Town, UNS Mombasa

2nd Refits: UNS Osaka, UNS Busan

3rd Refits: UNS Kharkiv, UNS Tartu

Upon completion of refits, the Cape Town-Bs will return to Callisto and rejoin the rest of the fleet.

To: UN First Fleet From: UNIN Subject: Training Exercises

Upon conclusion of the Mars Transport operation, UNIN will resume task force training. The entire Cape Town Fast Reaction Group along with UNS Minsk and the Samar IIb escorts UNS Visayas, UNS Panay, UNS Sulu, and UNS Midway will engage in a series of war games near the Jovian system. The remainder of the UN Cruiser Group and escorts will remain at Callisto.

To: BC Void Shipbuilding From: BuShips Subject: Delphi Construction

Tooling is almost complete, construction run of Delphi sensor craft to begin immediately, four total ships should be constructed.

(from the naming spreadsheet) 1. UNS Delphi 2. UNS Pythia 3. UNS Didyma 4. UNS Dodona

To: GFTF From: UNGF Command Subject: Additional Infantry Training

Upon completion of the currently ordered engineering brigades, begin training of a further 12 battalions of Mobile Infantry, using cadres whenever possible.

To: BuShips, UNS Biliran From: BuOrd, UNIN Subject: Restocking of Ordnance

At one week from completion of the first three Guam class colliers, UNS Biliran should make for Earth at cruising speed, once arrived, Biliran will form up as escort to TG COLLIER as it transfers the entirety of UNIN's missile stocks on Earth of Eagles, Hornets, and Mosquitos to Callisto, in that order of priority, TG COLLIER will proceed at 2000 kps. Additional colliers will join the task group as completed.

UNSA/UNIN Joint Order - Upon delivery of the first Endymion class Astronomy Ship, said ship will head for Callisto at 1600 kps and begin "studying the Jovian system"

Actual Orders: UNS Endymion should head for Callisto at 1600 kps, then form up with UNS Abra and UNS Alfred Nobel for transit to JP1 at 2000 kps, upon arrival, UNS Abra will relieve the current picket to return to Callisto and take up standard picket operations. UNS Nobel will transit UNS Endymion, detach, and immediately transit back. UNS Endymion will set speed to 500 kps, travel 150 million km at heading 180 degrees and drop a remote comm beacon, then head in system, attempting to skirt the very edge of the system (minimum 50m km distance from any body) and attempting to detect any EM/TH signature. If signature is detected, mark position and begin withdrawing to the Jump Point, UNS Nobel will transit back once per day for status updates and to set up an evacuation transit if necessary.

UNSA

-To avoid delays in game progress any freed up lab capacity without a task specified is to be distributed amongst current projects with the projects with the most labs taking priority until the admin capacity of the leading scientist is maxed out, this continues until the freed capacity is all in use or all ongoing projects are at max capacity.

-As new labs complete construction they are to be assigned to the project with the most labs currently assigned to it that has free admin capacity on its leading scientist.

-Maya Villareal Ceballos will likely leave before the completion of mining 12 (July 6?). If this occurs Slaan is to take over the project.

-Once mining 12 is complete 2 labs are assigned to Magicboots for Project Sprinter (maxing his capacity at 20) and Slaan is to use the remaining 12 labs to research the following missile:

SR S6 Missile. WH:1.334 ENG:3.37 FUEL: 1.296
Missile Size: 6 MSP (0.3 HS) Warhead: 4 Armour: 0 Manoeuvre Rating: 10
Speed: 22500 km/s Endurance: 32 minutes Range: 43.3m km
Cost Per Missile: 3.2467
Chance to Hit: 1k km/s 225% 3k km/s 70% 5k km/s 45% 10k km/s 22.5%
Materials Required: 1x Tritanium 1.9967x Gallicite Fuel x3240
Development Cost for Project: 325RP

After completion of this he is to take over the missile reload rate 2 project from Viewtyjoe. Viewtyjoe is to use his lab to begin research on Improved warhead design. (WH4).

-Upon completion of Reload rate 2 a Size 6 PDC launcher using the improved reload tech is to be researched by Slaan using the 12 labs available. This is for the new missile PDC designs (proposals in skunkworks.)
