Sol is the latin name for the The Sun, the star the Earth revolves around. Sol is thus the home system of humanity. The Solar System consists of eight planets, numerous moons, and hundreds of asteroids and comets, claimed by the various human powers, and contains three jump points, leading to the systems of Klondike-Kagayan, Zhongguo, and Roanoke.
